The SBY-Boediono campaign team believes the results of final counting by the General Elections Commission (KPU) will not change despite an expected challenge from rival candidates.
"We are convinced the result of the KPU count will not change much because we have seen that none of their complaints is not significant," campaign member Andi Malarangeng said at the SBY private residence in Cikeas, Bogor, on Saturday.
He said complaints from other candidates about election irregularities would not change the result that had been confirmed by the KPU.
So, whatever the result of legal process at the consitutional court later will be will not affect the KPU count, he said.
The head of the SBY-Boediono campaign, Hatta Radjasa, meanwhile said that his side had also submitted its finding on the gap in vote numbers to the elections monitoring committee (Panwaslu).
"We have reported untrue facts that have also affected us. We also conducted monitoring across voting stations to see if foul play had been done and we reported it to Panwaslu in every province," he said.
KPU on Saturday confirmed the final result of the presidential election on July 8.
Based on its count incumbent president Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono was declared the winner collecting 60.80 percent of votes, followed by Megawati Soekarnoputri with 26.79 percent of votes and Jusuf Kalla 12.41 percent.
Megawati and her running mate Prabowo Subianto did not attend the declaration of the election final result in protest against it. She was represented by her legal team. Jusuf Kalla and his running mate Wiranto attended it but also would challenge the result.
